About Myself
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I utilize my training and care to co-create a space where you can feel steady enough to explore life’s challenges. Drawing from relational, attachment, somatic, and trauma-trained practices, together we will tailor a holistic approach that is at your pace and honors your unique intersectional identity. Through our connection, my wish is that you won’t have to struggle alone, and the door to healing will open a little wider to hope and flourishing.
Education
I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at National University, with a dual emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. My focus was on the relational stories that shape who we become and the ability of compassionate, evidence-based practices to cultivate healing. Before stepping into the world of relational care, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, where I learned to understand human systems, honor nuance, and listen for the meaning beneath the surface. My education continues to shape both my curiosity and my dedication to creating spaces where people feel understood in their most human moments.
Work Experience
I have experience working with teens, adults of all ages, and couples. By supporting folks through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relational struggles, and major transitions, I’ve had the privilege to help those I serve find a way forward in their unique stories with steadiness, connection, and courage. Working in community-based programs, I furthered my experience in offering warmth and respect to people with diverse identities and cultural backgrounds. Each story I’ve encountered strengthens my dedication to offering care that honors both the courage and complexity of being human.
Approach
I value the transformational nature of presence, empathy, and authenticity. I practice using a blend of therapeutic methods to create experiences where individuals and couples feel more connected, more understood, and more able to move toward what they need. I support those I meet in this work from an integrated, trauma-trained approach rooted in relational, humanistic, and culturally humble practices. I have specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, EMDR, grief counseling, somatic attachment practices, polyvagal theory, and expressive art therapies. Together, as we slow down and explore new ways of expressing what words cannot hold, we will form a therapeutic relationship that fosters embodied growth and renewed hope.
I look forward to connecting with you to learn more about how I can support you along your journey.
